Kris Roberts (Actor/Singer/Dancer) is a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with a major in Drama. As part of her training at NYU, she spent her first two primary years studying The Method at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, then went on to study Musical Theatre at CAP21 and Commedia Dell'Arte at NYU: Florence, Italy. She finished by studying Film Acting, including Sitcom, Soap Opera, Film Improv, Commercial and Voiceover at the Stonestreet Studios.
Kris got her start in Richmond, Virginia. She studied ballet, tap, and jazz at the Royal Dance Center and sang with the prestigious Greater Richmond Children's Choir. With this choir, she sang at Carnegie Hall, and competed (and won) in Verona, Italy.
Kris trained early on in Musical Theatre at the School of Performing Arts in the Richmond Community (SPARC) -whose alums include pop singer Jason Mraz and Broadway's Emily Skinner- as well as at the Appomattox Regional Governor's School for the Arts and Technology (ARGS), the only full-time, four year high school for the arts in Virginia, where she was a Musical Theatre Major.
Aside from performing, Kris loves to travel, horseback ride, hike, be near the water (rivers/lakes/oceans, whatever!), play with children, listen to jazz music, indulge her sweet tooth, and SHOP!
